Digital Media and Marketing Associate

Job Description
The Digital Media and Marketing Associate is responsible for visualizing and creating multimedia (audio/video) for external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, customer stories, recruiting videos, and other enterprise-wide projects. In addition, the Digital Media and Marketing Associate is responsible for assisting in creating engaging web site and social media content. The role of the Digital Media and Marketing Associate will be expected to be self-directed but also collaborative. They must possess superb communication, time-management, and process-management skills. Keen problem-solving and organizational abilities are necessary, among other soft skills. Creativity, passion, and attention to detail are also keys to success in this field.

Responsibilities
  • Create and develop illustrations, logos, and other designs
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including:
    • selecting program format for final output 
    • capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files 
    • creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over, media management
    • archiving project media
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Set and meet deadlines 
  • When needed, plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
  • Develop production schedules
  • Manage video library
  • Evaluate analytics
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years design experience
  • Experience with design software and technologies (Adobe Suite After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Experience with WordPress
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Strong written skills, with a solid knowledge of AP press-release style writing and grammar
  • Degree in Design, or related field is a plus

Project Manager
West Hartford, CT

Job Description
The Project Manager works closely with OWIT customers and internal stakeholders to lead projects according to industry and project management discipline standards and best practices to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery for OWIT Global customer implementations. This role is also responsible for risk mitigation that may entail escalating major issues and deviations from plan, risk management, driving immediate problem solving and aggressively progressing key milestones and deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Manages all aspects of small-to-mid-sized projects. Leads project planning efforts to help determine project scope, staffing needs, scheduling, identify risks and issues and develops contingency plans to manage.
  • Facilitates the project kick-off with project team members and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manages the day-to-day details of the project including coordinating with project team members and resource managers as appropriate, managing the project plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, budget, risks, and associated management and mitigation thereof.
  • Leads the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
  • Reports schedule, budget, and delivery details to project stakeholders.
  • Facilitates project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, fostering open communication within the team on project planning and execution.
  • Maintains project management deliverables including the project plan, project schedule, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project.
  • Coordinates and facilitates post project/milestone reviews.
  • Works with the Customer Engagement Officer to develop and implement a sound, predictable, and repeatable project management discipline, practice, and standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum BS or BA.
  • PMI Certification highly desirable.
  • Candidate experience should be in Software Services and/or Support.
  • At least 3-5+ years of experience in managing technical projects preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong presentation skills with emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Mastery of MS Project or equivalent.
  • Superior verbal, written and organizational skill sets.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Takes ownership and can execute using minimal direction and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Insurance business knowledge highly desired.
